Our commitment
HRBoxs wants everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to read and use this website. We treat accessibility as part of how we build and update it, not as an afterthought.
The standard we work towards
We design this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, in mind. This is the standard we are working towards. We have not yet had the website independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have done
- Keyboard use: You can reach every link, button, menu and form field with the keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link lets you jump past the navigation.
- Visible focus: The element you are on is clearly outlined as you move through the page.
- Colour and contrast: We choose text and button colours to meet AA contrast, and we do not use colour alone to show meaning.
- Forms: Every field has a visible label, and errors are described in text next to the field and summarised at the top of the form.
- Structure: Pages use headings in order, descriptive link text and landmarks, so screen reader users can navigate them.
- Images: Decorative images are hidden from screen readers, and meaningful images have text alternatives.
- Motion: Animations are gentle, and they switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Zoom and small screens: The layout adapts to different screen sizes and to enlarged text.
Known limitations
- No independent audit yet: We have not yet completed a full audit with screen readers across browsers.
- Colour contrast on orange banners: Some white text on the orange homepage banner is below the AA contrast level. We are working to improve it.
- Third-party content:Some content, such as fonts or embedded services, comes from other providers and may not meet the same standard.
- Documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully accessible. Contact us and we will provide the information in another format.
The HRBoxs application
This statement covers this marketing website. The HRBoxs application, where you sign in to use the product, is a separate service. If you find an accessibility barrier in the application, please tell us in the same way.
Feedback and help
If you cannot use part of this website, or you need information in a different format, please use the Contact page and tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and which assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five working days and to fix confirmed barriers as soon as we can.
